Prerequisites
- This lesson requires a terminal application (bash, zsh, or others) with the ability to securely connect to a remote machine (ssh).
- To follow the instructions in the materials for moving data with Globus to the UH Mana HPC system an active Mana account is required to access the storage system and also to access the Data Transfer Nodes (hpc-dtn1) in order to use Rclone from open on demand or ssh.
- You can access the Mana Open OnDemand web interface by going to https://mana.its.hawaii.edu to access the Mana HPC cluster and shell interfaces for some of the Rclone exercises.
Required files
We will donwload the required files as part of the workshop exercises so no files will be required ahead of time.
